We’re seeing some great examples of people promoting their Flipboard profile and magazines on their web sites.  

• Health insurance company Humana features a badge linking to their Flipboard profile alongside their other social media icons.

 

• Apartment Therapy’s “A New Way to Read Apartment Therapy! Check out our Flipboard magazines” contains magazine embeds. Readers can click through to check out what the home decor site is curating on Flipboard.

 

• Blogger Every Day Human Spirit has placed her Inspired magazine as the central element of her homepage.

 

• Mobile Trucking Magazines started as a Flipboard magazine with the “goal to provide truck drivers on the road with trucking news and information that they could easily access 24/7 through their mobile devices.” They have since built their web and social strategy around the magazine. Learn more in their blog post reflecting on the first year of the magazine.
